Daily Dose 07/17/2008
Good morning everyone! Hope you’ve had a great week so far. We got a tiny bit of rain the other day, but other than that the days have been warm and sunny with pretty white fluffy clouds in the skies.
Work has been relatively quiet and life on the farm has been about the same. In other words, no high drama.
Ken goes to get his eyes checked today and we don’t expect any great revelations on that front. He needs glasses for close work and that’s the extent of it.
Next weekend is the local dog show. We don’t have much entered and didn’t even enter all 3 days, only Saturday and Sunday. Ken and I talked about his problem with getting ears from the dogs and he’s going to try a different approach to it. He was supposed to be practicing with his dog, but I don’t think he has yet.
That’s all the news on our front.
Oh! Eddie – Chrystalyn left her bathing suit and a backpack thing. If I can get my mind to functioning properly, I’ll get those mailed to you by this weekend. I hope she’s enjoying her books.

We were looking for that this week! At least she can wear Yvonne’s old suits. :rolleyes:
I’ve been having flashbacks to my childhood all week. There are chores and responsibilities I remember having at ten that she has never had to deal with! I guess I should be thanking you for making me grow up so fast. Poor Chrystalyn is having to learn responsibility the hard way. 🙁
Eddie
