Kemar

Welcome to our web home.

We've been owned by Whippets for nearly twenty years. About five years ago we added a Chinese Crested to our family. Then along came another and then a third. The two breeds, despite their differences in looks, actually get along great and are so much fun!

Along with the Whippets we show, we also rescue and are volunteers for WRAP(Whippet Rescue and Placement). Several of our most beloved dogs have been rescues that came and just never left. The most "famous" of these was Skinny Marie. Unfortunately we lost this great lady in January of 2008. We miss her so.

Butterfly's brothers and sisters are doing us proud! Ashley and Tara both earned their Therapy Dog title from AKC (THD). Ashley has also earned his RN (Rally Novice) title and will be entering the obedience ring this fall. Jovi (formerly Oscar) has learned the joys of lure coursing and is bringing home the ribbons for his owner, Charlotte! Jovi recently earned his CGC title and we will see his debut in the Perry, GA shows in April.

Kemar's Greater Fritillary (Fritz) completed the requirements for an AKC Championship and is now halfway towards his Grand Champion title!

Fritz sired a litter of puppies on Ch Wesann's Reflections of the Heart, owned by Michelle Queen. The puppies were born 6/1/2011 and three of them made their debut at the Clemson Kennel Club shows 1/7/2012 & 1/8/2012. River (Wesann's River of Dreams) was Winner's Dog for his first two points on 1/7/2012! He is following closely in his father's pawprints! Brother Indie (Kemar's Independent Thought) and sister Lady (Wesann's Edge of Glory) had respectable showings with 3rd and 2nd placements.

We are thrilled with the quality of this litter and have high expectations for them in the coming year.

Zydeco Sheng Feng (Payne) completed the requirements for an AKC Championship under Westminster Best in Show judge, Edd Biven! We are so excited and proud to have earned that final point under such a distinguished judge! Payne is currently in whelp to Nitro (Ch Wesann High Octane) and puppies are due 1/21/2012!

Thank you for indulging us in our pride over the dog's accomplishments! Welcome again and we hope you enjoy your visit to our home on the web.
