Available Whippets at Kemar's

Occasionally, every breeder finds that they have too many dogs to give the kind of care and attention the dog deserves. This does not mean that the dog is a cast off or that he or she is "bad", simply that the breeder recognizes his/her limitations with regards to what they can take care of in the manner they expect the dogs to be cared for.

We found ourselves in that position with a few of our dogs.

We kept 4 puppies from our last litter knowing when we did that this day was going to have to be faced. We love these guys, but want them to have a home where they can get more attention and interaction than we are able to afford them at this time. It was a really hard decision to make.

We've decided to make this one available to a new home.

MaggieMaggie, otherwise known as Kemar's Gone With The Wind is from our Gone with the Wind theme litter born 12/17/2004. She is a petite little girl standing 18-1/2" tall and weighing around 23lbs, with lovely manners and captivating eyes. She is up to date on all innoculations and has no know health or temperament issues. She's very good with other dogs -- quite the little mother in some instances. She has not yet been spayed, but that will be done prior to her placement.

If you are interested in her, please contact us at 864-379-3010. You can download our Puppy Buyer's Application, fill it out and e-mail it back to us using the contact button and attaching the completed questionnaire. Refrences are required and are checked. A home visit is also required before placing a dog in a new home.

Many people are wary of getting an older dog because they have been told that "they won't bond". That is simply not true. Dogs in general and Whippets in particular are very adaptable creatures. As long as their creature comforts are being taken care of, they will come to love their new families. This dog loves children and would do well in a home where there is a young child.
